This game is made by the same creative minds that conjured the worlds of ICO (PS2) and Shadows of the Colossus (PS2) and could be the sleeping giant that we have all be waiting for. This time around we get a little boy who rides a “giant man-eating eagle” named Trico. I think giant man-eating eagle is a disservice to this awesome creature, but I suppose the creators of the beast would know better than I would.
The game looks like it will be in the vein of Prince of Persia, or Uncharted with puzzles that will require the player to stealth around, avoiding enemies to achieve specific goals. There is a spot in the trailer where we see that boy throw an urn at a guard, so perhaps it won’t be all stealth.
The speculated release date for The Last Guardian is early November of this year. After watching this trailer, it has me all hyped up. What a beautiful looking game.
